A man charged with arson in the fire of historic Butlers Mill has been charged with two additional counts relating to the incident. Court records show Christopher Lynn Phillips, the owner of Butlers Mill, was charged with two counts of first-degree insurance fraud. He is charged with one count in both Randolph County and in Cleburne County. Court documents show in the Randolph County case that in Sept. 2016, Christoper Phillips provided false information to Western World Insurance Company in order to obtain insurance coverage for Butlers Mill restaurant. He was released from the county jail on a $60,000 bond.
