A Florida man only suffered minor injuries after a crash that split his car completely in half, according to the Winter Haven Police Department. Carlos Pino, 20, was driving his 1986 Nissan 300ZX Tuesday around 6:38 p.m. on the wet roadways when he started to slide while negotiating a curve. He over-corrected and the mistake made him lose control of the vehicle.
The Nissan went skidding off the roadway and into a tree with enough force to split the vehicle in two -- the front engine compartment on one side of the tree and the cab on the other.
